Job summary

Amcor is seeking a technically skilled engineer to provide hands-on support in keeping manufacturing safe while optimizing operations and reducing waste. You will train operators, implement process improvements, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on complex automation projects.

You will design and validate vision systems, troubleshoot and document procedures, and support both on-site and remote validation activities across AFNA operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
• 3–5 years of experience with vision system installation and applications.
• Experience with multiple technologies including pneumatics, conveyors, sensors, robots, AMRs, HMIs and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority while improving manufacturing operations and process efficiency.
• Lead or participate in World Class Operations and related improvement pillars.
• Design, program, and validate vision systems and related components to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
