Job summary

Amcor, a global leader in packaging, seeks an engineering professional to support safe, efficient manufacturing. You will champion process improvements, train operators on new equipment, and collaborate with project teams to reduce downtime and waste while maintaining product quality.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong problem solving, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/SharePoint, within a high‑impact AFNA manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial) and 3–5 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of flexible packaging and related processes such as blown film, metallization, flexographic printing, extrusion coating, laminating, and slitting/winding.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with time management and independence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as a top priority while improving quality, waste and productivity in manufacturing.
• Support World Class Operations Management initiatives as a team member.
• Investigate root causes of process, quality and downtime issues and develop corrective actions.
• Train operators on new equipment installations, modifications and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance to minimize downtime and waste.
