Job summary

Amcor is seeking a manufacturing engineer to provide technical support for safe, efficient operations in a United States facility. You will focus on improving conversion costs, reducing waste, and enhancing productivity while upholding safety and quality for AFNA products.

You will collaborate with plant teams on equipment modifications, training, and problem-solving to support world-class operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial).
• 3–5 years of experience in engineering roles within manufacturing.
• Experience with problem solving and quality systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety as the top priority while improving quality, waste and productivity.
• Supports the World Class Operations Management implementation as an active participant.
• Investigates causes of process, quality and production problems and develops solutions.
• Trains machine operators on new equipment installations, modifications, and operating procedures.
• Works with plant BPI resources to ensure technical support is available to production.
