Job summary

Fixx Energy seeks a Process Engineer in Smyrna, TN to ensure safe, efficient operation and maintenance of plant equipment at the Battery Plant production facility. You will collaborate with Maintenance and Quality to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers cross-functional collaboration with Operations and Engineering, development of procedures, and involvement in new model launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Strong written and verbal communication; data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant efficiencies and recommend adjustments to improve performance.
• Lead evaluations of plant and equipment performance; optimize resource use.
• Write clear equipment and process procedures for manufacturing staff.
• Develop process sheets for assigned area.
• Support process/design changes and Kaizen activities.
• Lead equipment acquisition or modifications for new model launches.
• Provide engineering input for cross-functional activities.
• Demonstrate data-driven problem solving and present to management.
