Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Process Engineer II to drive manufacturing process improvements in our cell production environment. You will focus on defect rate reduction, material/model introductions, specification validation, and overall equipment efficiency while developing and implementing process strategies.

You will lead data-driven improvements, collaborate with maintenance, quality, and other engineering teams, and help expand countermeasures into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field; Master’s preferred.
• 2–4 years of process or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and data-driven decisions.
• English proficiency required (reading/writing/speaking).

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement projects to reduce defects and improve OEE.
• Develop and implement process strategies; manage resources and optimize processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues with root-cause analysis and countermeasures.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on process and machine improvements.
• Create standard work instructions, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support manufacturing automation and countermeasure rollout.
