Cirba Solutions in Lancaster, OH is seeking a Process Engineer to be the on-site technical resource for process engineering, driving continuous improvement and leading small capital projects.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, EHS and Capital Projects to improve safety, reliability, and throughput across battery recycling operations, focusing on yield, uptime and data-driven decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering strongly preferred).
• 3-5 years of process engineering experience in mining, chemical processing, battery materials, or related industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of process design, unit operations, and process control fundamentals.
• Structured root cause analysis techniques (5 Why, fishbone, FMEA) for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• Working knowledge of PSM and EPA RMP requirements.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to increase yield, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting for process upsets and equipment issues with Operations.
• Serve as the plant's local resource for capital project development and execution.
• Support optimization of recovery processes for nickel, cobalt, lithium and other metals.
• Perform root cause analysis on deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Collect and report KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
• Support PSM elements and safety program improvements.
• Develop and maintain process documents and equipment specs.
