Job summary

Alan Baird is seeking a Process Engineer in New Jersey to define, map, implement, and sustain manufacturing processes. You will monitor KPI trends, lead improvements in yield and OEE, and collaborate with suppliers and customers on cross-company projects.

Responsibilities include documenting controls, performing root-cause analyses, and communicating progress to stakeholders. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years manufacturing experience, and comfort with data analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years manufacturing experience; fast-paced small parts env as a plus.
• Six Sigma is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, characterize, and lead the implementation of new processes.
• Drive improvements in yields, scrap loss, and equipment utilization.
• Write and update Work Instructions, Control Plans, and flow charts.
• Monitor KPI trends to control process ranges and ensure consistent quality.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement preventative actions.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders with reports and presentations.
