Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Process Engineer to join our team in New Jersey. You will develop, implement, and optimize industrial processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, with hands-on skills in process simulations, CAD, and data analysis. We offer comprehensive benefits, generous PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with process simulations and knowledge of process engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes from inception through start-up and certification.
• Assessing processes, taking measurements, and interpreting data.
• Designing, running, testing, and upgrading systems and processes.
• Developing best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
• Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement improvements and monitor outcomes.
• Ensuring that all processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Establishing process KPIs and conduct performance analysis.
• Providing process documentation and operating instructions.
