Job summary

Alan Baird Industries is seeking a Process Engineer to define, map, implement, and sustain manufacturing processes. You will monitor KPI trends, drive improvements in yield and quality, and collaborate with suppliers to optimize materials and methods.

The role requires strong problem solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork, with a focus on data-driven decisions and maintaining EHS compliance across processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Five+ years manufacturing experience; fast-paced small parts environment preferred.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, map, implement, and sustain processes.
• Drive improvements in yield, OEE, quality, and EHS metrics.
• Write and update WIs, Control Plans, process flow charts, PFMA, etc.
• Monitor KPI trends to control variation and ensure consistent product quality.
• Lead supplier interactions and oversee supplier change requests (SCR).
• Communicate project status and present findings to stakeholders.
