Job summary

Brewer Science, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer Co‑Op to join our Rolla, Missouri facility for the Spring and Summer 2027 terms.

You will work full-time, 40 hours per week, and must be able to take a semester off from school to participate in this cooperative program. The role focuses on evaluating, developing, and implementing programs for product and process characterization, continuous improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in product and process characterization.
• Ability to document and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform product and process characterization.
• Conduct work with defined plans and limited scope.
• Prepare workbook and process specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with technicians as needed.
• Maintain accurate lab data records and notebooks.
• Analyze data to drive continuous improvements.
• Prepare periodic reports on outcomes and challenges.
• Support safety procedures in manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency.
• Learn and adhere to industry regulations in chemical manufacturing.
