Job summary

PSI, a large manufacturing plant, seeks a Process Engineer to drive process optimization, plant trials, and technical evaluations of chemical processes. You will develop design recommendations for improvements and capital projects, supporting safety and reliability initiatives across Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering.

The role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering with 1–5 years in process engineering, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, and a commitment to Process Safety and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 1–5 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with chemical manufacturing processes and equipment preferred.
• Ability to apply chemical engineering principles to troubleshooting, optimization and design.
• Understanding of Process Safety and experience participating in PHA activities preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform process optimization studies, plant trials, and evaluations of existing chemical manufacturing processes.
• Develop process design recommendations for improvements and capital projects.
• Support engineering assignments for capital projects and process initiatives.
• Evaluate problems, select engineering methods, and develop practical design recommendations.
• Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and other Process Safety activities.
• Prepare calculations, design information, and project deliverables.
