Job summary

PSI Pax, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize chemical manufacturing processes, lead plant trials, and deliver practical design recommendations. The role emphasizes process safety, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration to meet safety, quality, production, and cost objectives.

The engineer will develop process improvements, support capital projects, and provide technical guidance across Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 1–5 years of Process Engineering or similar experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with chemical manufacturing processes and process equipment preferred.
• Ability to apply chemical engineering principles to troubleshooting, optimization and design.
• Knowledge of Process Safety principles and participation in PHA is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform process optimization studies, plant trials, and evaluations of existing chemical manufacturing processes.
• Develop process design recommendations for process improvements and capital projects.
• Support Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and process safety activities.
• Prepare engineering calculations, design information, and project deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and technicians as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and plant leadership to troubleshoot performance issues.
