Job summary

PSI Pax, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Process Engineer to lead process optimization studies, plant trials, and technical evaluations of chemical manufacturing processes.

You will develop design recommendations, support capital projects, participate in PHA and safety activities, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to improve reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–5 years in Process Engineering or similar in manufacturing.
• Experience with chemical manufacturing processes and equipment preferred.
• Ability to apply chemical engineering principles to troubleshooting and design.
• Familiarity with Process Safety and PHA activities preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform process optimization studies, trials, and evaluations of existing chemical processes.
• Develop design recommendations and engineering scope for improvements and capital projects.
• Support capital, process improvement, and operational initiatives.
• Evaluate problems, select methods, and develop practical design solutions.
• Participate in PHA and Process Safety activities.
• Prepare calculations, documentation, and project deliverables.
• Plan and schedule engineering work; provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians.
• Troubleshoot equipment with Operations/Maintenance to improve reliability.
• Support continuous improvement aligned with plant objectives.
