Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Procedure Scheduler who will support providers by scheduling complex medical procedures and coordinating with insurance for authorizations. You will schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments, maintain patient records, and assist with MyChart support.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of scheduling experience, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year minimum experience as Surgery Scheduler or equivalent; scheduling medical procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule complex medical procedures, testing, and pre-op appointments.
• Obtain insurance authorizations; oversee consent forms for surgical procedures.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update the EHR system.
