Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Procedure Scheduler to support providers by scheduling complex medical procedures and coordinating insurance authorizations. Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 year of experience as a Surgery Scheduler or equivalent, or similar medical reception duties.
Experience scheduling medical procedures or appointments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule complex medical procedures, testing, and pre-op appointments.
Obtain insurance authorizations and oversee consent forms for surgical procedures.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
Maintain accurate patient records and update the EHR system.
Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
Assist with patient communications, paperwork, and MyChart support.
Maintain day-to-day office operations.
