Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Procedure Coordinator to plan and coordinate services for patients and families needing procedures within medical specialty service lines, ensuring encounters are positive, professional and efficient.

You will handle patient registration, clinic and diagnostic scheduling, anesthesia procedures, interdepartmental coordination, and facilitate approvals and OR block management to maximize scheduling efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Medical terminology.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Family Service Coordinator or equivalent clinical reception/coordinator experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and coordinate clinic appointments.
• Schedule diagnostic tests and procedures under anesthesia.
• Coordinate across services and with interpreters.
• Complete steps for insurance authorization, legal guardianship, and provider privileges.
• Fulfill OR block requirements to maximize utilization.
• Support positive, professional patient encounters.
