Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Family Service Coordinator to plan and coordinate services for families throughout the surgical experience, including scheduling new patient, pre-op, PASS, and post-op appointments, procedures, and tests.

You will collaborate with the OR to maximize room utilization, coordinate the insurance approval process, and manage patient records, ensuring smooth care and timely communication with families and clinic staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Medical terminology.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare scheduling experience as a Family Service Coordinator or equivalent clinical reception/coordinator experience.

The schedule for this position is: Monday-Friday 05:30-14:00

Preferred

Associate’s Degree or at least two (2) years of college coursework in health care or related field. Significant experience working with the general public in a health care/customer service environment. Familiarity with other cultures/bilingual skills.

Compensation Range

$24.77 - $37.16 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
