Job summary

Sentara Health's SRMH GI in Harrisonburg, VA, seeks an Advanced Care Procedural Coordinator to join a fast-paced gastroenterology practice. You will coordinate end-to-end procedural care, acting as the main liaison between providers, facilities and patients, with a focus on access, readiness and post-op follow-up.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, full-time (40 hrs/week). Experience in procedure scheduling and coordination is highly preferred, with competitive benefits offered by

Qualifications

• 3 years of Healthcare experience (clerical or clinical)
• Procedure scheduling experience highly preferred
• Coordinating experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end procedural care across ambulatory service lines
• Serve as primary liaison between providers, facilities and patients
• Ensure timely procedural access, pre-operative readiness and post-operative follow-up
• Optimize OR, Endoscopy, and Cath/Angio Lab utilization and patient experience
