Job summary

WD is building the infrastructure behind the AI-driven data economy. The Process Engineer will support wafer probe operations for product development and high-volume manufacturing, developing, sustaining, and optimizing wafer probe processes and test setups.

You will work with Test Engineering, Yield, Manufacturing, and IT to ensure robust process control, data integrity, and successful new product introductions, driving improvements in yield and cycle time.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer probe engineering, or test engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical measurement techniques in lab and cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain wafer probe processes for new and existing products across development and manufacturing.
• Define probe card configurations and wafer test setups for qualifications and production ramps.
• Monitor process performance with SPC and statistical analyses; maintain control limits and dashboards.
