Job summary

WD, a leader in data infrastructure, seeks a Software Engineer to design and maintain software for wafer test operations across development and manufacturing. Responsibilities include tester apps, MES integrations, data pipelines, and AI/ML powered automation to boost quality and productivity.

Candidates should have a BS/MS in relevant field and strong experience in C#, C++, Python, SQL, and distributed systems, with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS, ECE or related field required.
• Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor environments.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, UI, test programs, and automation tools for manufacturing, engineering, and product development operations.
• Develop new software capabilities and automated solutions to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, yield, cycle time, and productivity.
• Build and maintain integrations between manufacturing systems, databases, equipment controllers, reporting platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Design, optimize, and support data infrastructure, including databases, data models, reporting solutions, analytics tools, and data pipelines.
