Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Software development experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial automation, or test engineering environments.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, SQL, and modern software development practices.
• Experience with database development and optimization.
• Experience developing distributed applications, services, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis on complex lab/instrumentation issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, user interfaces, test programs, and automation tools for manufacturing, engineering, and product development.
• Develop new software capabilities and automated solutions to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, yield, cycle time, and productivity.
• Build and maintain integrations between manufacturing systems, databases, equipment controllers, reporting platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Design, optimize, and support data infrastructure, including databases, data models, reporting tools, analytics, and data pipelines.
• Develop low-level hardware and instrumentation interfaces, including equipment communications, data acquisition, and device control.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML-powered applications to improve defect detection, monitoring, and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and drive continuous improvement in lab and cleanroom environments.
