Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. invites an Intern Engineer to collaborate with experienced engineers, developing and evaluating wafer probe equipment and processes.

Through hands-on projects and data-driven analysis, you will gain practical semiconductor manufacturing experience and prepare for future engineering roles in a team environment. You will perform design of experiments, data analysis, and report findings while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Fundamentals in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Experience with statistics, data analysis, and DOE.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, characterization, validation, and deployment of wafer probe equipment, hardware, software, and process improvements.
• Design and execute experiments using statistical methods and DOE techniques to evaluate equipment and process performance.
• Analyze manufacturing and equipment performance data, identify trends, and recommend solutions to improve quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Create and deliver technical reports, presentations, and documentation communicating project findings and recommendations.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation solutions to improve engineering productivity, technical problem-solving, data analysis, and workflow efficiency.
