Job summary

The County of Culpeper seeks a dedicated professional to supervise offenders assigned to roadside litter pickup and community service hours. You will coordinate with Local Probation Officers, VDOT, and other partners to assign sites, monitor compliance, and document hours completed.

Responsibilities include direct supervision of offenders, site inspections, transportation as needed, and maintaining performance data.

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma with related coursework.
• 1–2 years experience in criminal justice/case management duties.
• Must obtain satisfactory criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate litter pickup sites with probation officers and VDOT.
• Assign sites to offenders and track hours credited.
• Supervise offenders performing litter pickup and transport as needed.
• Inspect sites to ensure proper cleanup and safety.
• Communicate with VDOT to arrange removal of collected litter.
• Submit written reports on hours credited and work performed.
• Maintain statistics: number of offenders, trash collected, miles cleaned.
