Lidl US at Hazlet Township, NJ seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager, coach the team, and deliver Lidl’s high-quality, low-price shopping experience.

You will lead promotions, manage operations, ensure customer service excellence, and develop staff while adhering to safety and policy guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience or a bachelor’s degree.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical store tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Readiness to participate in stocking, cleaning, and ringing on a daily basis.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team to reach full potential daily.
• Provide excellent customer service and be the main contact for customers.
• Monitor and drive improvements in store KPIs.
• Lead projects like weekly promotional store sets and re-merchandising.
• Support operational tasks including cash handling, stock, cleaning.
• Ensure a safe, productive work environment following policies.
