Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Maintenance Technician for a multifamily community in Tampa. The role involves making ready apartments, performing repairs, and delivering excellent resident service. You will handle plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general maintenance while maintaining grounds and safety standards.

On-site work with after-hours availability may be required. Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications highly preferred; 1+ year experience in property maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, carpentry, painting.
• Excellent customer service and timely response to requests.
• Valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II/CPO certifications.
• Knowledge of safety and fair housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Prepare makes-ready apartments including painting, cleaning, and basic repairs.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform maintenance tasks across plumbing, HVAC, electric, carpentry and painting.
• Maintain grounds, pools, and common areas.
• Support on-call emergencies and after-hours responsiveness.
• Report maintenance concerns to the supervisor and perform scheduled work.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company standards.
• Attend training and represent Cushman & Wakefield professionally.
