Job summary

Invited Clubs is seeking a Golf Shop Attendant to promote the game of golf and provide outstanding service to members and guests. You will assist customers with merchandise selections, maintain an organized pro shop, and share information about club services and events.

You will also help manage inventory, support outside golf operations, and contribute to smooth daily procedures while upholding the club's standards of presentation and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with members and guests.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain shop presentation and inventory.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude.
• Knowledge of golf merchandise, apparel, and equipment.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service in the pro-shop, greet golfers, process charges at the register, and check in players before rounds.
• Maintain proper cash handling and ensure all operational standards are met.
• Answer member/guest inquiries, manage tee-time bookings, and engage in professional conversations.
• Keep a calm, courteous demeanor to provide a superior customer experience.
• Oversee inventory by checking in merchandise, organizing storage, and restocking items; handle special orders and returns.
• Assist with course operations by coordinating with golf operations staff and supporting daily procedures.
• Support Head Golf Professional, General Manager, and Tournament Coordinators with projects and events.
• Attend daily briefings and adhere to club policies; maintain clean, organized work areas.
