Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts for pro customers, while also handling returns and cores. This role requires strong customer service, sales aptitude and the ability to work weekends.

You’ll stock and maintain inventory, promote loyalty programs and assist in upselling to increase average tickets. The position emphasizes safe driving, effective communication, and building relationships with customers like MainStreet and National Pro.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong customer service and sales aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; share insights learned during deliveries.
• Upsell and cross-sell to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock inventories.
• Engage walk-in customers and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
