Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, and to pick up returns and cores while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

You will also collect credit accounts daily and build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers. The role requires engaging with walk-in customers, upselling and cross-selling products to raise average transaction value, and maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance when required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores; drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts; build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and general stocking, including back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to identify needs and recommend parts or services.
• Operate inventory systems and store equipment; keep knowledge of new arrivals.
