Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and deliver parts to pro customers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs. You will pick up returns, maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and assist in upselling products to increase transaction value.

The role requires safe driving, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Willing to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
