Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Dunkirk, MD is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, and to handle returns. You will promote current sales and loyalty programs while collecting credit accounts daily.

Maintain store cleanliness and stock while engaging with customers to meet their needs. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and automotive parts experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
