Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, and to build strong relations with MainStreet and National Pro accounts. You will also assist with in-store promotions and loyalty programs.

Responsibilities include handling returns, stocking, and daily collection of credit accounts, while upselling products and maintaining a clean, organized store. A valid driver's license and HS diploma are required, automotive parts experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read safety rules, maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for units and pricing.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Sales aptitude and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
