Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Salisbury, MD is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also handle returns, assist with upselling, and maintain store cleanliness while building relationships with customers.

The role requires a valid driver's license, basic math skills, and a customer-service mindset. Automotive parts experience is preferred. Flexible days including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
