Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Villa Park, IL is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also handle returns, collect payments, and promote current sales and loyalty programs while upselling where appropriate.

The role requires a valid driver's license, basic English communication, and automotive parts knowledge. You will maintain store cleanliness and stock levels, and adapt to a variable schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
