Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Illinois is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pickup returns, and distribute sales flyers while promoting current promotions. Qualifications

• Must have safe driving and navigation abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
