Advance Auto Parts Inc. in New Bedford, MA is seeking an Automotive Parts Driver responsible for delivering parts to pro customers, handling returns, and promoting sales and loyalty programs.

The role requires safe driving, customer service, and ability to upsell while maintaining store cleanliness and inventory accuracy. You will work varied shifts, interact with walk-in customers, and participate in stock and cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsabilités

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
