Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver automotive parts to pro customers in a retail environment. You will also handle returns, promote current sales, and assist with upselling while maintaining inventory accuracy and store cleanliness.

The role requires a valid driver's license, basic math, and strong customer service skills. You will interact with customers daily and support sales initiatives, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience delivering automotive parts is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• Stocking including back stock and cycle counts; knowledge of inventory and new arrivals.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
