Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an automotive parts driver who will deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs.

You will also manage daily credit account collections, upsell and cross-sell products, maintain store cleanliness, and keep inventory knowledge up to date to assist customers.

The role requires safe driving, friendly communication, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Automotive parts experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to pro customers safely and on time
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
