Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also handle returns, promote current sales and loyalty programs, and assist in upselling products to increase the average transaction value.

The role requires maintaining store cleanliness, stocking, and engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate parts or services. Flexible shifts including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Able to perform basic math for transactions and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores; drop off flyers and promote sales/loyalty programs.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organized stock; perform cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
