Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and handle related duties. You will promote current sales, manage returns, and collect credit accounts while building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.

A valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and automotive parts experience are preferred. You will engage with customers, stock shelves, and maintain a clean store environment, with physical tasks including lifting up to 100

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
