Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, handle returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs. You will collect credit accounts daily and build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights from deliveries.

The role emphasizes upselling, cross-selling, inventory knowledge, and excellent customer service. You will also maintain store cleanliness and assist in stocking, with flexibility to work

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read safety rules, manuals, catalogs and procedures.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts.
• Work varied days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Engage customers and promote products effectively.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
