Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick and deliver automotive parts to pro customers and to support in-store sales efforts. You will collect returns, promote loyalty programs, and assist with credit accounts while maintaining a positive customer experience.

The role requires safe driving, ability to navigate, and strong communication. Flexible shifts including weekends may be required, with a focus on teamwork and inventory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read safety rules and manuals.
• Able to use basic math for transactions.
• Read inventory and parts catalogs.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
