Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring a Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, handle returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs.

The role includes daily credit account collection, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking, and assisting customers with product recommendations. The driver will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, support upselling and cross-selling, and contribute to inventory accuracy and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Basic math for transactions.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
