Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Hampstead, MD is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and assist with returns, inventory and upselling during daily routes. You will maintain knowledge of inventory, engage walk-in customers, support loyalty programs, and uphold safety and vehicle maintenance standards while working a flexible schedule including weekends.

Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, be able to lift up to 50–100

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50–100 pounds with assistance.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers with CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
