Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Ohio is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, handle returns, and upsell. You'll engage with walk-in customers and maintain store cleanliness while executing accurate inventory and cycle counts.

The role requires safe driving, strong communication, basic math, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends. A high school diploma and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable driving record and valid driver's license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read safety rules and product catalogs and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
