Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist for our South Florida facilities. This role requires producing diagnostic radiographs and assisting licensed practitioners in exams, with flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities include operating various X-ray systems, ensuring high image quality, and maintaining HIPAA compliance while supporting patient care across multiple locations. ARRT, CPR/BLS, and state licensing are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• CPR and BLS (AHA/ARC) required.
• ACLS certification where applicable.
• State license, if applicable, required.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic images for interpretation.
• Operate and demonstrate competency with different X-ray equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Cover per diem shifts and respond promptly to coverage requests.
