Job summary

Akumin in South Florida seeks a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across multiple sites, responding to coverage needs and ensuring high-quality images.

You will operate radiographic equipment, document procedures, and comply with HIPAA and safety rules while maintaining patient-centered care and flexible scheduling.

ARRT certification and state license are required, with CPR/BLS and ability to travel between locations.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• State license, if applicable, required.
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA/ARC) is preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations and cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic images as ordered by the physician.
• Demonstrate competency with different X-ray equipment and ensure high-quality images.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and patient privacy.
• Train and orient new technologists or staff as needed.
• Cover per-diem shifts and respond to coverage requests.
