Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Proficiency with Doppler techniques and vascular imaging.
• Ability to use radiology software and PACS.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuing education and licensure upkeep.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity, exam appropriateness, and collect clinical history.
• Position patients and equipment to acquire optimal images and data.
• Document findings accurately in EMR and PACS systems.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and privacy.
• Maintain infection control and proper PPE usage.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure imaging quality and continuity of care.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and equipment is safe.
• Complete ultrasound technologist worksheets for radiologist review.
