AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to acquire and analyze ultrasound images, maintaining high-quality studies for radiologist interpretation. You will educate patients about the procedure, ensure privacy, and follow infection control standards while using EMR and PACS systems.

This PRN role requires 1+ year of related experience, BLS certification, and ARDMS abdomen and OB registries.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of position-related ultrasound experience
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ARDMS abdomen registry (Required)
• ARDMS OB registry (Required)
• Experience with Breast/Prostate/OR ultrasound preferred
• Ability to educate patients about procedures and maintain privacy

Responsabilités

• Acquires and analyzes ultrasound images and data for radiologist interpretation.
• Sterilizes transducers and maintains hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Educates patients about the exam and ensures timely completion of studies.
• Operates imaging equipment safely and adapts protocols for patients of all ages.
• Follows infection control standards and uses PPE and disinfectants.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
