Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to acquire and analyze ultrasound studies for radiologist interpretation. You will maintain hygiene, document results in EMR and PACS, and educate patients about the procedure.

Responsibilities include safe operation of imaging equipment, collaboration with radiologists and staff, and ensuring patient comfort and privacy throughout exams. BLS certification required; prior breast/prostate/ultrasound experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ultrasound education and licensure required; BLS is mandatory.
• Experience with breast, prostate, OR ultrasound imaging preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and analyze ultrasound images for radiologist interpretation.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment; maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Document findings in EMR/PACS and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure privacy throughout exams.
