St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for PRN opportunities. You will assist in preparing the operating room, maintain sterile technique, and provide instrumentation for the surgeon during procedures.

The role supports patient care before, during, and after surgery under RN supervision. Requirements include prior Surgical Technician experience in inpatient settings, graduation from an accredited program or hospital on-the-job training with proof,

Competenze

• Experience as Surgical Technician with competency in multiple inpatient surgical specialties.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or hospital on-the-job training with proof of content.

Mansioni

• Prepare patients, equipment, and operating rooms for procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and assist surgeon with instrumentation.
• Assist circulating nurse with instrument counts and operative setup.
• Manage supplies and equipment including sterilization and availability.
• Support intra-operative management and anticipate surgeon needs.
